Youth Without Youth

At 70, Professor Dominic (Tim Roth) is contemplating suicide; his wife is dead, and he can't seem to complete his life's work on the origin of language. Incredibly, he is struck by lightning, and survives - but the real miracle is just beginning. Since the accident, he is getting younger. It is Europe during the run-up to World War II, Dominic must now hide his newfound 'power' from the Nazis who will experiment on him to discover the key to his regeneration. Francis Ford Coppola's contemplative and dream-like interpretation of Mircea Eliade's novel also stars Bruno Ganz and Alexandra Maria Lara.
