Waltz with Bashir
Israeli filmmaker Ari Folman employs a unique animated style in this innovative documentary that recalls his military service in the early 1980s. When he talks to a friend with whom he served during the invasion of Lebanon, Folman realizes he has very little memory of those days and so presents interviews and animated re-enactments to help him remember his own experiences and share them with the world.
