Hush
Zakes and Beth are making the familiar drive home along the M1, when a white truck narrowly avoids hitting them. Its back doors swing open and reveal a woman caged up inside, terrified and screaming. Not sure what to think, Zakes calls the police but Beth is furious that he hasn't done more to help. At the next petrol station she storms off, but when she doesn't return, Zakes realises that she too has been snatched by the truck driver. A tight, indie Brit-thriller revisiting a well-worn horror premise, but doing it well.
