Guy X

It's 1979. Jason Biggs is Corporal Rudy Spruance who joined the army to avoid jail-time and now finds himself on the receiving end of a small but significant clerical error. Instead of Hawaii, he is dropped off unceremoniously in Greenland where the bombastic commanding officer (Jeremy Northam) takes him to be the public relations guy sent to start up a propaganda-spouting, morale-lifting newspaper. Complaints of mistaken identity fall on deaf ears, but as Rudy wanders the frozen wasteland he stumbles on a dirty military secret that will have the Pentagon in a tizzy. Based loosley on John Griesemer's satirical anti-war novel, 'No One Thinks of Greenland'; Natasha McElhone and Michael Ironside co-star.
