The Uninvited

This American remake of Korean chiller 'A Tale of Two Sisters' is the debut feature from two ex-pat Brits, the Guard Brothers. Anna (Emily Browning) has just been released from a mental institution and comes home to find her dad (David Strathairn) shacked up with her dead mother's nurse (Elizabeth Banks), while her older sister has become persona non grata in the household. Anna's suspicion that things are not quite right are confirmed when her mother reaches out from beyond the grave with a stark warning. Creepy ghost story with a few twists and turns, ideal for a teen sleepover.
