Julia

Tilda Swinton plays Julia, an alcoholic who, between shots of vodka and one-night stands, gets by on nickel-and-dime jobs. When a neighbour gets her involved in a twisted abduction scheme involving the other woman's son, Julia hatches her own plan to rekidnap the boy, leading to deadly consequences. Swinton is terrific as usual in this gritty drama from director Erick Zonca ("The Dreamlife of Angels").
