New Year's Eve
Director Garry Marshall's follow-up to "Valentine's Day" focuses on another group of loosely connected folks, this time facing life's problems as the year draws to a close. A single mom (Sarah Jessica Parker) clashes with her teenage daughter (Abigail Breslin), a terminally ill man (Robert De Niro) finds solace in the company of two nurses (Halle Berry and Alyssa Milano), and a singer (Jon Bon Jovi) tries to win back an old flame (Katherine Heigl). Large ensemble cast also includes Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel, Hilary Swank and Marshall regular Hector Elizondo.
