About A Boy

Winning adaptation of the Nick Hornby ("High Fidelity") novel showcases Hugh Grant as a 38 year old slacker bachelor with an interest in toys and gadgets and none in commitment. When he attempts to date single mothers by passing himself off as a single father with a fictitious child, he is befriended by a 12 year old fatherless boy, who soon teaches Grant a few lessons about growing up. Toni Collette, Rachel Weisz and Nicholas Hoult also star. Directed by Paul and Chris Weitz ("American Pie").
