With friends in her Jerusalem neighbourhood and patients she tends to in the West Bank city of Ramallah, Canadian doctor Chloe (Evelyne Brochu) finds managing her emotional loyalties to both Israelis and Palestinians to be a difficult and isolating struggle. Monitoring the pregnancies of young women in a refugee camp and growing close to one particular patient, Chloe attempts to become a bridge-builder in the midst of bitter conflict.
