Widow Salma Zidane lives on the Palestinian West Bank, in a small house surrounded by lemon trees that her great grandparents planted. Unfortunately, when the Israeli Minister of Defence builds his house next door, her lemon trees are viewed as a security risk and are set for the chop. Salma hires a lawyer to try and stop her ancestral trees from being destroyed, but the odds are stacked wildly against her, in this haunting film from Israeli director Eran Riklis ('Cup Final'). A compelling drama that captures the pervasive unease in Gaza, with the brilliant Hiam Abbass in the lead who won Best Actress at the Israeli Film Awards.
