The Guard ( Blu-ray )
Working a beat on the Irish coast, Sgt. Gerry Boyle (Brendan Gleeson) experiences some culture shock when he is assigned a black American partner (Don Cheadle) sent in by the F.B.I. to assist on a high-stakes drug-smuggling case. Their repeated clashes only add to Boyle's distaste for the operation, as he is already very distracted by caring for his ailing mother (Fionnula Flanagan). Acerbic comedy co-stars Mark Strong, Liam Cunningham, and David Wilmot.
