Omar

Like the Palestinian towns across the West Bank split by high Israeli walls, Omar (Adam Bakri) is a divided man. A baker by trade he must scale the concrete monoliths to sensitively trade letters with his sweetheart Nadja (Leem Lubany). But fierce loyalty to his occupied nation courses through his veins, drawing him to fight alongside his childhood friends Tarek (Eyad Hourani) and Amjad (Samer Bisharat) against the Israeli regime. After years of training and successfully undertaking their first assignment, Omar is betrayed and picked up by the secret police. Plunged into darkness, tortured and imprisoned and seemingly out of options he is offered an ultimatum by Agent Rami (Waleed F. Zuaiter) youre in trouble, and you have to choose between your life and your friends. With an impossible choice between the love of his country and the love of Nadja, Omar must decide what matters most to him.
