House of Cards

Architect Kathleen Turner and her two children return to the US after several years of living among Mayan ruins (and the eerie spirituality of the Mayan Indians) of Central America. When her young daughter becomes increasingly withdrawn and shows signs of autism, Turner battles child psychologist Tommy Lee Jones over therapy.
