Delicatessen

A post-apocalyptic future becomes the setting for pitch black humor in this visually intricate French comedy. A circus performer takes a position as a handyman to the odd tenants who live above a butchers shop. Complications ensue when he falls for the butcher's daughter, who must enlist the help of vegetarian freedom fighters to save him from the meat cleaver.
