Stargate
In Egypt, archeologists uncover a gigantic stone ring that, decades later, is found to be an interplanetary nexus. Scientist James Spader and Air Force officer Kurt Russell head up a military expedition through the Stargate that lands them on a strange desert planet ruled by alien dictator Jaye Davidson and his jackal-helmeted minions.
