Two-Lane Blacktop
Monte Hellman's acclaimed cult film concerns a race around the back-roads of America between a pair of drag-racing drifters (musicians James Taylor and Dennis Wilson in their acting debuts) in a '55 Chevy and Warren Oates in his brand new GTO for each others "Pinks". Their race takes them on a rambling odyssey fueled by encountering a wild cast of characters along the way.
