With its own pharmocopeia of herbs, roots and minerals, this system of healing was originally recorded in Gyushi - The Knowlege Of Healing, a medical manual written in the 12th century. Explained and illustrated through case studies of patients shown progressing under treatment for ailments deemed incurable in the West.
