Titus

"Titus Andronicus", Shakespeare's first tragedy, is given striking treatment by director Julie Taymor, who melds ancient settings with modern accoutrements. Anthony Hopkins is the Roman commander who becomes the target of treacherous Tamora (Jessica Lange) after she marries Saturnius (Alan Cumming), an emperor Titus has backed.
