Raw Deal: A Question of Consent

Do you know rape when you see it? Audiences have come to expect video footage to tell the truth, to shine a light on "what really happened". Exotic dancer Lisa Gier-King ran out of a University of Florida fraternity house half-naked, claiming that she had been raped. The frat boys had videotaped the alleged assault and the police recovered nearly three hours of footage. It depicts a shocking portrait of fraternity life at its seediest, but does it support King's claim of rape? Billy Corben's controversial film includes extensive footage from the video, along with interviews from many of the people involved. "One of the most compelling pieces of non-fiction ever produced." - Film Threat magazine.
