Troy
Director Wolfgang Petersen's ("The Boat") compelling epic production of Homer's classic poem "The Iliad" comes complete with sprawling battle scenes, an all-star cast, and one wooden horse. When Trojan prince Paris (Orlando Bloom) absconds with his lover, the beautiful Spartan queen Helen (Diane Kruger), the stage is set for a bloody conflict between Troy's armies, led by Paris' brother Hector (Eric Bana), and a Greek invasion force under the command of greedy King Agamemnon (Brian Cox), whose chief asset is the mighty warrior Achilles (Brad Pitt), but Achilles marches to the beat of his own drum. With Sean Bean, Brendan Gleeson, Julie Christie, and Peter O'Toole as Priam.
