Hamish Macbeth: Series 1

Robert Carlyle is the eponymous small-town bobby in the rugged Scottish West Coast town of Lochdubh. He has his own methods of law enforcement which may sometimes involve bending the rules a little, but he loves Lochdubh with all its eccentric locals, and he loves his wee terrier sidekick, Jock. Based on characters created by novelist MC Beaton.
