Goal!

As a boy, Santiago Munez (Kuno Becker) left Mexico for California with his family, bringing with him not much more than his love for football. He is soon holding down two jobs, but his dreams of turning soccer pro seem about to materialise when an English scout offers him a try-out for Newcastle United. The catch? He has to make his own way to the UK. A hugely successful hit, this rags to riches story brought the energy and excitement of premier league football to the big screen.
