The Odd Couple
Every ten years the King of the Sword (Sammo Hung) and the King of the Spear (director Liu Chia-liang) meet for a duel that inevitably ends in a draw. To end the rivalry they each agree to train a student to fight on their behalf (also played by the two main actors), but an old enemy is about to resurface. Stuffed with slapstick and displaying some of the best weapons choreography ever committed to celluloid, this classic action comedy has Sammo at his lightning-fast best and is a real pearler.
