My Friends My Loves

French romantic-comedy escapism with an 'Odd Couple' set-up. It is set, and filmed, in South Kensington, in a small French enclave known as, of course, Frog Alley. Antoine is an uptight architect, who takes being house-proud to an obsessive-complusive level; Mathias is an irresponsible grump who suffers from vertigo. They are hoping to make their single dad lives easier by living together as one big happy dysfunctional family. And as if that weren't bad enough, they've both fallen for the same girl. Based on Marc Levy's popular novel and directed by his sister Lorraine Levy, the film stars Vincent Lindon, Pascal Elbe and Virginie Ledoyen.
