Kidulthood

Based on the real life experiences of writer and actor Noel Clarke (who plays Sam), this is an unromantic and powerful film exploring the grim options faced by six poor, inner city youth in West London. Realistic, sharp and compelling with convincing performances from the all-newcomer cast (including Jamie Winstone, Ray's daughter, as Becky), the Telegraph described it as 'a gunned-up, coked-out Grange Hill'.
