Ushpizin

Devout Orthodox Jews Moshe and Mali (played by scriptwriter and devout Orthodox Jew Shuli Rand and his real-life wife) are celebrating Sukkot, a time to be reminded of humble beginnings and to welcome guests ('ushpizin' is Aramaic for 'holy guest'). But the visitors they receive prove to be a real test of faith in this cleverly plotted and heart-warmingly funny film, the first production allowed inside one of Jerusalem's closed communities.
