Factotum

The life of celebrated poet, novelist and wild man Charles Bukowski is examined in this darkly humourous, booze-drenched adaptation of his novel. Matt Dillon channels Bukowski's deadbeat alter-ego, Henry Chinaski (previously played by Mickey Rourke in the incredible 'Barfly') as he bums his way through various low-rent dives and uninspiring jobs. Lili Taylor is his barhound buddy and Marisa Tomei also appears as another alcohol-fuelled conquest. As Bukowski himself said, â??sometimes you just have to pee in the sink...".
