From the director of 'Lantana', this enigmatic psychodrama examines the consequences of the actions of four men who go on a fishing trip and don't allow the discovery of a dead woman to disrupt their weekend. Only when they return home do the moral implications of what they have done come under scrutiny, splitting the community. Gabriel Byrne and Laura Linney star in this layered and mood-filled Aussie drama, based on a Raymond Carver short story, 'So Much Water, So Close to Home', also used by Robert Altman in 'Short Cuts'.
