Mutual Appreciation

Pretender to the New York indie throne, Andrew Bujalski, made his debut with the quirky 'Funny Ha Ha', and his sophomore effort retains that film's post-collegiate angst, exploring the awkward, silence-ridden courtship rituals of a group of twenty-something New Yorkers. Shot in black and white, in naturalistic verite style, this is pure indie charm, with the director also co-starring.
