The Stone Merchant

University professor, Alceo, teaches History of Terrorism, and draws from personal experience having lost both legs in the American Embassy bombing in Nairobi. When he and his wife travel to Turkey they meet a charismatic gem dealer (Keitel) whose secret agenda could unwittingly involve them in a plot to bring the West to its knees. An Italian/UK co-production with Harvey Keitel, filmed in Turkey, this collaborative effort plays on contemporary paranoia to great effect.
