Sorry, Haters

This intense and thought-provoking psychological thriller takes a hard look at the relationship between white and Muslim Americans in a post-911 world. The excellent and versatile Robin Wright Penn is a successful, though dissatisfied, professional woman who gets in a cab driven by Muslim man, Ashade. Despite her problems she listens to Ashade as he describes the unlawful arrest of his brother under new anti-terrorism laws, and she even offers to help. But as time goes on, her real motives become clear in this gripping indie drama, shot in just 15 days in New York City.
