Sabah

Passionate and independent as a youth, Sabah is now a devout, forty-year-old Muslim woman, living in Canada and devoted to her traditional family. But as a special 40th birthday present to herself, she buys a forbidden bathing suit and goes swimming. There she meets and eventually falls in love with a handsome, non-Muslim Canadian man. Soon the stress of balancing her secret romance with her highly demanding family life begins to take an emotional toll in this cross-cultural, romantic comedy-drama.
