Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus
The life of visionary photographer Diane Arbus is explored through a fictional romance, inspired by Patricia Bosworth's biography. Nicole Kidman plays the titular artist as she is just beginning to discover her talent and break free from her lonely 1950s housewife persona. Intrigued by the appearance of a mysterious new neighbour (Robert Downey Jr), she determines to take his photograph, simultaneously unlocking her long-suppressed passions and artistic genius.
