Hetty Wainthropp Investigates: Series 1

Hetty Wainthrop (Patricia Routledge from the beloved 'Keeping Up Appearances') has just had her 60th birthday, and being the forceful and naturally inquisitive character that she is, she decides it's time to put her many talents to work. Enlisting the help of a runaway teen, rescued from a life of shoplifting (and played by Dominic Monaghan of 'Lord of the Rings' fame), Hetty sets up shop as a private investigator. Based on the novels from David Cook, who also performed co-writing duties on these first six episodes.
