Dennis Farina stars (himself an 18-year veteran of the police force before switching to acting), as the obsessive Lieutenant Mike Torello who has been pursuing ruthless mob boss Ray Luca (Anthony Denison) from the mean streets of '60s Chicago to the gang-infested neon strips of Las Vegas. Soon-to-be-famous guest stars included Gary Sinise, David Caruso, Lorraine Bracco, Ving Rhames, Julia Roberts, Vincent Gallo and many more. Volume one contains the pilot and episodes one to ten.
