Wild South: Volume 2

Volume Two on the wild wonders of the Deep South with NHNZ. In 'Up With the Birds' (1982) we look at many of the unique bird species of Macauley Island. Next we are off to Tausaka Island to look at the first three months of a fur seal pup in 'The Firstborn' (1984). 'Island Eaten By Rats' (1984) is a look at the devastation caused by rats in Big South Cape in the 1960's. Next we take a journey through 'The Mangroves' (1984), a diverse and organised ecosystem which feeds and offers shelter to many marine species. Finally, in 'Snares - Gift of the Sea' (1984), the Snare Islands offer sanctuary to millions of birds making it a remarkable wildlife treasury.
