The Dinner Guest

AKA "L'Invite". A frivolous comedy of errors made entertaining by its esteemed cast; Daniel Auteuil stars as unemployed Gerard, a man with the opportunity to snap up a great job in Indonesia. His potential boss is coming to dinner, but unfortunately Gerard and his wife are hopeless hosts. Luckily for them their next door neighbour is a PR whizz and is about to give them the 24-hour makeover of a lifetime. Based on a play by David Pharao, who also wrote the script, it co-stars French farce veterans Valerie Lemercier, Hippolyte Girardot and Thierry Lhermitte.
