A perpetually shocking documentary exposing the Bush administration's use of torture when dealing with political prisoners, focusing in particular on those captured in Iraq and Afghanistan. The title is derived from the treatment of Afghani taxi driver Dilawar, mistakenly fingered as a terrorist, and ultimately killed during a torture session conducted by American troops. A stunning indictment of torture as policy, logically exploding the myth that it's acceptable under certain circumstances. From director Alex Gibney who also brought us the revelatory 'Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room'.
