The Dark Knight
Christian Bale is back in black, but arguably Christopher Nolan's sequel to 'Batman Begins' is stolen by the villain - Heath Ledger in his final (completed) movie role as sadistic maniac, the Joker. A year on from where the first film left off, and The Bat is continuing his war on crime with the help of Lt. Gordon (Gary Oldman) and D.A. Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart); but nothing has prepared them for the anarchic chaos about to be unleashed on Gotham's citizens. One of the darkest and most adult comic adaptations to reach the screen, this knock-out blockbuster garnered popular and critical acclaim.
