Batman Beyond: Season 1
AKA 'Batman of the Future' in its original New Zealand release. The futuristic follow-up to the acclaimed 'Batman: The Animated Series' sees Bruce Wayne long retired from his crime-fighting days and his new teenage assistant quickly figuring out who Wayne used to be. That kid is the troubled Terry McGinnis and he steals Bruce's new high-tech Batsuit (enhanced with strength, flight capability and nifty new gadgets) as he sets out to avenge his murdered father. Guest talent includes Stockard Channing who voices the Commissioner, Teri Garr and George Takei.
