The Forbidden Kingdom
Jackie Chan and Jet Li, together at last! Nothing more is required to lure any self-respecting martial arts fan, but happily there is more in this East meets West fantasy adventure. In a pawn shop in modern-day Boston, martial-arts obsessed Jason (Michael Angarano) is drawn to a mystical relic that transports him back to ancient China. There he meets up with aforementioned martial arts maestros and joins them on their mission to free the imprisoned Monkey King. With its engaging culture collision story and spectacular fight sequences by legendary choreographer Yuen Woo Ping, this is a guaranteed good time for the whole family.
