My Dog Tulip
A misanthropic, middle-aged British man finds the loving and devoted companion he's sought all his life when he takes in a mistreated German shepherd named Tulip, in this charming and bittersweet animated adaptation of author J.R. Ackerley's autobiographical tale. Hand-drawn by husband-wife scripter/directors Paul and Sandra Fierlinger, the film features the voices of Christopher Plummer, Lynn Redgrave, Isabella Rossellini.
