Ice Station Zebra

This potent Cold War thriller stars Rock Hudson as a sub commander whose secret mission to the North Pole sets the stage for a showdown with the Russians. With Ernest Borgnine and Patrick McGoohan who was in the midst of filming his popular series, 'The Prisoner'. In order to give him time off for filming, an episode was written in which his character, Number Six, has his mind transferred into another body. Based on Alistair MacLean's novel and allegedly Howard Hughes' favourite movie.
