Crimson Tide
As renegade forces seize control of nuclear weapons in Russia, the submarine USS Alabama sails into dangerous waters. Tensions rise when communications with the Pentagon are lost, prompting a face-off between egomaniacal captain Gene Hackman and level-headed executive officer Denzel Washington over whether the sub should launch its missiles against Russia.
