Little Dorrit

Christine Edzard's film is a brilliant reworking of the Charles Dickens classic in two parts. The first part ("Nobody's Fault") is told from Arthur Clennam's (Derek Jacobi) point of view, while part two ("Little Dorrit's Story") is told from Amy Dorrit's (Sarah Pickering) point of view. Two perspectives in the noisy, busy, eager London of the late 1850s. Supported by an all-star British cast including Alec Guinness, Cyril Cusack, Joan Greenwood, Eleanor Bron, Roshan Seth, Miriam Margolyes, Michael Elphick and Robert Morley.
