Tampopo
One of the funniest, most enjoyable, satirical comedies is this treasure of a movie, the plot of which, loosely concerns the quest for the perfect Japanese noodle. A mixed bag of noodle-obsessed men help the heroine of 'Tampopo' run the best noodle restaurant in Tokyo, a plan which involves a lot of hilarious madness.
