An Ideal Husband

Devoted womaniser and partygoer Arthur Goring (Rupert Everett) is famed for his elegance, repartee and refusal to take anything seriously. When called upon by his friend Sir Robert (Jeremy Northam) to resolve an unusually delicate matter, Arthur instantly rises to the occasion. With etiquette and politics foremost and the introduction of a scheming adventuress threatening to reveal dark and convicting secrets, Arthur soon finds himself tangled in a web of lies, temptations and trysts that threaten the existence of his blissful bachelorhood. "A stunning adaptation of Oscar Wilde's original play, both witty and hard hitting" - Filmfind.
