The story of Woody Guthrie, one of America's great singer-composers. This film focuses on the depression years when Guthrie rode the rails and stars David Carradine in one of his career best roles. Winner of two Academy Awards including Best Cinematography by Haskell Wexler with many famous songs including "This Land is Your Land" and "Roll on Columbia".
