King Arthur
Placing the legendary ruler in a historical context, director Antoine Fuqua's ("Training Day") ambitious epic begins in the wanning days of the Roman Empire, and chronicles the path taken by Arthur (Clive Owen), a 5th-century Roman soldier who becomes leader of a campaign to defeat an invading Saxon army and unify Britain. His comrades in arms on this quest are valiant English knights Lancelot (Ioan Gruffudd) and Galahad (Hugh Dancy), rebellious shaman Merlin (Stephen Dillane), and the brave and beautiful warrior woman Guinevere (Keira Knightley). With Stellan Skarsgard, Ray Winstone.
