The Weeping Camel ( aka The Story of the Weeping Camel )

This moving documentary chronicles a family of nomadic shepherds' desperate attempts to save the life of a baby camel. Born snow white, the young colt is rejected by its mother and unable to nurse. Fearing that the baby might die, the shepherds resort to bizarre methods to get the mother camel to feed, and eventually love, her young. An exotic and beautilly mounted film shot in Southern Mongolia's Gobi Desert.
